I'm a Liebster Blog!

I was recently given the Liebster Award by not one, but two, amazing craft blogs.  Liebster is German for dearest, beloved, or favorite. The Liebster Award is given to up and coming bloggers , who have less than 200 followers.
Most blog awards come with "rules."  Recipients of the Liebster Award are encouraged to:
  • Thank your Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog.
  • Link back to the blogger who awarded you.
  • Give your top 5 picks for the award.
  • Inform your top 5 by leaving a comment on their blog.
  • Post the award on your blog.
In the spirit of fostering new connections, passing on the love, and most importantly supporting the little blogs who deserve a shout out...I'll play along!

So first, big thanks to D at The Shady Porch and Bethany at Pitter and Glink!  I truly appreciate both of you sharing this award with Craft, Interrupted.  You can check out their blogs by clicking the buttons below.  It's worth it!

And now I'll pass the award on! I took quite a bit of time looking for smaller blogs that I felt deserved some more attention. It's not easy to find the little gals in the crowd sometimes!  I had to really search.
My list started growing, and I chose five to nominate as Liebster Blogs.  In no particular order:

Casa de Luna Creations
Besides covering things from crafting, bargain shopping, amateur photography, cooking experiments, party planning, and flower loving (any/all of which I would enjoy reading about), what drew me to Lynette's blog was the weekly instagram-ish photo collages of objects and experiences that bring her joy.  She is documenting her time after leaving a successful career to return to grad school - doing things to work on living the life she always imagined.  "Live the Life You've Imagined" now has 26 parts.  I enjoyed looking back through each and every one : )  Best wishes to you Lynette!

Titus 2 Work in Progress
Kristin has created a really lovely blog of crafts, parties, recipes, decorating...check out her 2011 recap for a brief peek at just some of the goodness hidden here!  Besides all this, what drew me to Kristin's blog was discovering the meaning behind the title.  Kristin is desiring to be a wife and mother who, according to Titus 2: 3-5, is striving to be a living example, by being loving, self-controlled, kind and pure, supporting her husband, taking good care of her home, and so teaching other young wives and mothers what is good.
Personally, I can relate to Titus 2 Work in Progress.  I enjoyed poking around Kristin's blog : )

Silver Boxes
Steph has created a lovely blog here, too.  What drew me to Silver Boxes was this Lamp Revamp, which I   think is bomb-diggity.  However, after spending some time on Steph's blog, I also discovered her many amazing room makeovers.  Not to mention the fact that she uses Pinterest to help her in meal planning!
Keep up the good work Steph!

Life on the Miracle-Round
I love what Kim wrote in her About page, about her son having a unique perspective on the world.  She said he calls a merry-go-round a miracle-round, and she named her blog that to remind herself to look at things in different lights.  Kim has some wonderful blog posts of projects.  I especially love how she turned broken wooden blinds into faux shutters.  Brilliant!  Her etsy store has darling chalk-painted banners, too.  Kim, I wish you much success!

Sewing Room Screaming
I found Amy's blog recently on a linky party, and became a follower.  The gal is super talented at refashioning/upcycling clothes!  When you see the "Before" pics and then see what she created, well, it's boggling.  I don't think *I* could do it.  Amy has an awesome sense of humor, and her blog is an enjoyable read.  Keep that passion going Amy!  Your work is an inspiration : )

That's it!  These are just a few of the many Leibster-Worthy blogs out there.  Now I'm off to share the happy news to the latest recipients!
