13 for Halloween ~ Decor Ideas

Friday, October 26, 2012
We are coming to the end of our October Theme Weeks, and this is our last 13 for Halloween post.
I'm leaving you with inspirations for decor!  A little indoor, a little outdoor.  Hope you enjoy it : )

1) Ruffle and Yarn Spiders
from Clean and Scentsible
Now while I'm definitely NOT a fan of eight-legged-evils in real life,
these kind are just so whimsical and fun!

2) Illuminated Ghost Garland
This is such a smart way to make a little lighted ghost garland.  You have to go see the tutorial!

3) Halloween Hurricanes
from My Heart's Desire
Simple way to get some Halloween color in your decor ~ layer dried beans!

4) Cheese Grater Pumpkin Luminaries
Love, love, love when I come across something completely unique and creative ~ like these!

5) Doily Spiderweb Pillow
This is so smart and lovely!  I've also seen doily "webs" stretched in embroidery hoops with fake spiders.

6) Spooky Bug Terrariums
I am loving this idea!  It's the waterless globe, done Halloween style!  Fantastic!

7) Bird Silhouette Plate Wall
Thrift store plates and some paint and you could have a fab Halloween plate wall with these.

8) Mini Pumpkin Garland
How can you go wrong with a mini pumpkin garland??  These are so charming!

9) Skeleton Portraits
Simple.  And perfect.  I love these to pieces!

10)  Fake Cauldron Fire
Boy I would love to serve Trick-or-Treat candy from one of these.  How fun!

11) Wheelbarrow of Bones
Another simple idea for quick and easy outdoor decor.  Just the right amount of spook factor for me ; )

12) Flower Pot Pumpkins
Here's something unique that could last year after year on your porch - painted terra cotta pumpkin pots!

13) Pumpkin Scarecrow
I'm crazy for this one ~ it's a storebought scarecrow makeover.  And she did a fab job!
Those little scarecrows at the dollar store are lookin' mighty inviting after seeing this : )

Don't forget to see Tiffany's Fun Jar Friday post this week
Recycled Haunted House ~ it's amazing!

And come back tomorrow for another outdoor decor tutorial,
and a reveal of my decorated porch.

    1. I thought so, too Jenn! Sometimes less is more! I had seen beans used like this before, but not with Halloween colors. So smart!

I enjoy responding personally to your comments, too. * I had been responding to comments via email, but so many were no-reply addresses that I have switched to making all replies right here on the blog. So I hope you'll come back and visit again : )
