Feeling, Drinking, Looking for, Dreaming of, Making
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jaimee is...
CURRENTLY feeling... the love of autumn.  Getting to enjoy lots of outdoor family time lately and the colors and textures of the season are reaching their peak.  It smells heavenly, too.  I captured this shot of perfect little acorns this week.  Lots more autumn goodness in my Instagram feed : )
CURRENTLY drinking... coffee.  Always coffee, and always too much.  With French Vanilla creamer...although I'm super excited to hit the Holiday Creamers up soon!
CURRENTLY looking for... ideas for my Middle Man's 7th birthday, which is coming up way too fast!?  It has been decided that we are doing an Angry Birds birthday party.  The last few parties I did for my boys involved about a month of prep each and resulted in many blog posts...I'm feeling crunched that this one is in three and a half weeks and I have not done one iota of anything FOR it yet.  gah!
CURRENTLY dreaming of... I actually had a vivid dream last night of a high school friend who I haven't heard from in many years.  In my dream, I was looking at a photo of her with three daughters, twins and an older sister...AND all four of them were mermaids.  Random.  The subconscious is so bizarre.
CURRENTLY making... Pajama Pal Ninjas for a custom order, and extras for the shop.  First Ninjas that I have made in a color other than black.  These cuties will be for best friend cousins ~ royal blue and dark pink, with names embroidered on the backside.  Can't wait to see how they turn out : )
Tiffany is...
CURRENTLY feeling... back in my element.  I've started sketching again, for  myself.  Instead of just for books or jobs.  So expect to see a "sketch of the day" in my Instagram.  Not sure I can keep it up every day, but I really want to do it often.  I can't promise it's going to be impressive every day, or even good, but it will be there.
CURRENTLY drinking... salted caramel hot chocolate from Starbucks.  I'm not a coffee drinker, but it's not fall until I have my first salted caramel hot chocolate from Starbucks.  Incidentally, have you tried their salted caramel cake pop?  So good!
CURRENTLY looking for... a way to carry my phone.  I lose my phone all the time.  And, I never have my phone near and miss so many phone calls.  I need a good way to carry my phone on me.  I have a little case to hook to my pants but it is less than attractive.  I had a lady tell me once to carry it in my bra strap, but I have a droid and my phone to cup size ratio is a little off.  Any ideas?
CURRENTLY dreaming of... the life I expected to have as a child.  When I was growing up, I drowned myself in the life of Anne of Green Gables and Little House on the Prairie.  That part of history was perfection in my eyes.  I pictured myself as an adult living in a little cottage on a farm with cows and chickens and lots of children running around outside.  Now that I am an adult, I realize that my nervousness around large animals and desire to have a grocery store within a mile means that it isn't a likely scenario.  But every once in awhile that picture pops up in my head and I think, wouldn't it be nice...
CURRENTLY making... Peggie dolls.  We have some exciting this coming up in November and peggie dolls are on the menu.  But that's all I'm going to tell you for now!
    2. Yay! Another Anne fan! Have you watched all three movies? Somewhere I saw another Anne of Green Gables show on recently but haven't had time to really research it. Can't get enough Anne!
  3. Hi, my son had an Angry Birds birthday party for his 4th birthday. I pinned a few ideas here http://pinterest.com/hannahlouharris/angry-birds-party/ but, his favourite part was his smashable cake which his granny made, there's a great video on you tube which is where we got the idea from. We also did a giant angry birds scene with real catapults, huge fun!!! I haven't posted about it yet (even though it was in May!), but if I do it soon I'll link it. Up for you. Happy planning!
  4. Jaimee - I can't wait to see what you come up with for middle man's bday! I know it's going to be awesome and will totally blow me away (like all your stuff!).
    Tiffany - There is a salted caramel CAKE POP?? How have I missed this?? And if you come up with a good way for carrying your phone, puh-lease let me know! I'm the queen of losing my phone and REFUSE to wear one of those clip on belt things (I'm also rarely wearing a belt....).
    1. Randalin- YES!! I've only seen it that one time, but my Starbucks only puts out two flavors at a time. So if you go and you don't see it, ask about it. I will totally let you know if I find a way to carry my phone. In fact, I will broadcast it to the world!
Your comments make my day! Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts! I enjoy responding personally to your comments, too. * I had been responding to comments via email, but so many were no-reply addresses that I have switched to making all replies right here on the blog.
